NEWSFLASH - 7 May, 2013 – Parmelia Hilton Perth announced that the iconic Adelphi Steak House & Bar has moved to a new space and opens today as the Adelphi Grill. David Constantine, the Hotel’s General Manager said, “it is very exciting to be opening the Adelphi Grill. The team is looking forward to welcoming back our loyal Adelphi customers and attracting new faces.”
A $1 million renovation has created a contemporary new look and feel whilst maintaining a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Designer, Landini and Associates blends black floorboards with stone tiles and concrete pillars, contrasted with a striking white open kitchen. Cherry and tan leather seating with oak tables and wall panelling are offset with polished stainless steel. The restaurant is lit with Bestlite black wall lights by 1930’s designer, Robert Dudley Best, imported from Scandinavia.
A humorous Paul Rigby mural painted for the Adelphi in the 1970’s is a colourful feature of the restaurant.
